Features of new product

   Boundless sea and sky SE （CD-1702SE）has the world’s exclusive CD-PC communication function. Apart from the BNC and coaxial digital input within the old version CD Player, the new version also has USB  socket that can be connected to computer and achieve PC HI-FI function. The sound effect of this machine is natural and precise after recent sound adjustment. Compared to 07 version Boundless sea and sky, the sound quality has significantly improved, especially the sound density can compete with hi-end sound quality.

1. Brief introduction

 1) Birth of the name

     TDA1541A has created a glorious time for CD players, therefore Dugood decided to name to machine using TDA1541A decoder “Glory Year”, which happened to be one of the famous songs sung by beloved Beyond Band. In that case, while designing the machine using PCM1702 decoder and considering the prestigious fame of PCM1702 in HI-END field, Dugood decided to name it “Boundless sea and sky”, which happened to be another famous song by one of the members of Beyond Band, Huang Jiaju.

2) Decoding rockchip

    As a renowned audio DAC chip, PCM1702 is as famous  as TDA1541A. Because of the birth of this top 20bit audio DAC, American BB company established its leading position in digital audio field. After its introduction, lots of HI-END machines came into being, especially American and Japanese HI-END manufactureres such as MARKLEVINSON, KRELL, THEATA. Tianlong and TEAC and so on. They all applied PCM1702 top CD player and decoder. If TDA1541A is the favorite top decoding plan for European machines, PCM1702 is the favor of American and Japanese HI-END digital audio field. PCM1702 has double 19bitDAC working evenly which can guarantee a pure, dynamic and top quality sound quality. Its superior analysis ability can offer all the detailed elements in music. While using PCM1702， Dugood chooses parallel connection in each sound channel, which has increased output dynamics and improved the analysis ability of weak level.

3) 8 Xsampling Nonpareil digital filter

    PCM1702 is an independent single sound channel DAC chip. It has to work together with 8 Xsampling Nonpareil digital filter. Therefore, BB company’s top digital filtering chip DF1704 becomes the best choice. DF1704,DF1706,SM5847 are the only surviving top digital filters and only used in outstanding HI-END machines.

4) Integrated fission structure---Dugood’s innoration

    Usually CD players are
integrated, however most top products would use split type. What is good about split type is the good feature and flexibility brought by power isolation and digital isolation. Dugood’s integrated type fission CD is a set of split type CD in nature, however it is integrated in one machine chassis. The right part is individual loader and individual decoder is on the left. The individual decoder with three channel digital input is not only used in CD decoding, but also can be connected to digital signals of audio devices such as PC, DVD or top set box and improve sound quality.

5) Decoding

     Dugood uses Philip’s classical VAM1201 chip and CD7II servo system. After fine adjusting servo system’s software and hardware by Dugood, the entire feature of the chip has been upgraded and easily read deepblue and black epoxy burning CDs. The electric current is controled within 50ma in order to lengthen the life span of the head. Digital output part uses JITTER blanking technology, digital drive, pulse transformer coupling and radiation shielding etc. The bottom part has BNC and RCA digital output. During operation, it is connected to BNC digital wire and decoder in order to guarantee best conveying function.

 6) Decoding

    The rockchip is PCM1702+DF1704. Digital reception uses the most recent AK4112, three channel digital input. BNC/RCA/USB can be switched by relay and transform audio phase. Digital part applies Dugood’s best phase locking and simultaneous shaping technology so that influence from JITTER can be greatly reducedd. Simulated output is divided into RCA and balanced output. Audio operation/amplification applies OPA604 and Class A super linear modular OP6805A by Dugood which offers digital and simulated independent power supply.

 7) Headphone amplifier

   Inside decoder there is a good quality headphone amplifier for headphone lovers which suits headphones from 32 to 300 ohm.
